On November 26, 1942, hundreds of Jews were picked up by the Norwegian police in the middle of the night and led aboard the German cargo ship “SS DONAU” en route to Auschwitz. In the midst of this chaos, we meet the Braude family, an ordinary Norwegian working class family who had lived in safety in Oslo until these fateful days
Plot Summary:We follow the Jewish Braude family's experiences when the Jews are arrested and deported from the camp Berg, on the ship Donau and down to the extermination in the concentration camp in Auschwitz.
