We're always just a kid whenever we're going through a new phase in our lives, no matter which phase it is. Now we find the things that we once thought as 'the end of the world' trivial, and the feelings we once thought as 'earth-shattering' foolish and amusing. Perhaps, one day, we might find what we're going through right now trivial, foolish, and amusing too. Everything shall pass, and it's all just a part of growing up.
And we can all derive some comfort from this a posteriori knowledge.
