关于莎士比亚的生平、文学作品和对后世的影响力自不必提，因为很多人都如数家珍。之前有人说，莎翁他老人家不虐别人，也就只虐虐英专的学生，每次想起这句话都是深有同感，因为只要开始读古英语就会感觉自己的英语又要从头学起了……
莎士比亚的戏剧当中不少是历史剧，这就会涉及到一个很敏感的政治话题。在本片里，我的诸多疑问得到了解答，原来莎翁是根据Raphael Holinshed的Chronicle of English(英国编年史)来改写的。还有就是关于莎士比亚是否确有其人？许多现代人对此提出了质疑，主要原因是他刻画得许多关于宫廷和贵族的作品细致入微又形象生动，仿佛自己就是其中的一员，而莎士比亚本人却处于社会的中下层不可能对上层社会有如此全面的了解，这些作品的创作者极有可能是第十七代牛津伯爵—— 爱德华·德维尔（当然这也只是猜测，并没有确凿的证据）
有朋友说，你知道Bill Shakespeare是谁吗？我一脸茫然的看着他，他说不要告诉我你不知道Willamn Shakespeare，我才恍然大悟，原来Bill是Willamn的昵称，这在英国是妇孺皆知的事情。突然发现，我自认为对莎翁不说了如指掌吧，但对其作品也算是有所涉猎，而很多时候却对一些文化背景方面的问题知之甚少。
这部《解密莎士比亚》（Shakespeare Uncovered）第一季一共6集，每一集都是关于其一部或两部作品的剖析，包括戏剧内容、时代背景、心路历程等等。如果对莎士比亚作品不甚了解的小伙伴们可以事先查一查每部戏剧的主要情节，这样配合着观看本片收获会更大喔~本片强大的cast自不必说，光是为了伊桑·霍克、“大提提”、“铁叔”、“本喵”……就已经目不暇接了，还有众多老一辈的莎剧演员更是让观众啧啧称叹！英国有演绎莎翁剧的传统，甚至许多年轻演员将诠释莎翁的戏剧当作无上的荣耀，后来慢慢发现许多台词功底好的英国演员都是或曾经是英国皇家莎士比亚剧团（RSC）的演员,而在看这部《揭秘莎士比亚》时，最吸引我的是其每部作品的台词，想把其中自己最感兴趣的部分合并到一起。
第一集：第十二夜&皆大欢喜（Twelfth Night & As You Like It）
第一集第一句话就是《第十二夜》里面的台词，“What a country.friends,is this?”朋友们，这儿是什么国土。由薇奥拉在《第十二夜》的开头所说，她发现自己被海水冲到一个异国的海滩，而引出这部有点怪异的黑色喜剧。在本片中，我们看到有几位嘉宾对莎士比亚作品的评价，有人认为莎士比亚之所以是一位了不起的剧作家，原因之一就在于他对女性人物的关怀。他创作了这些极富魅力的、调皮可爱的、有趣的又滑稽的女性人物，戏剧史上没有像她们一样的人。而且他懂得女性的心理，或者说他创造了女性的心理，很少有喜剧中的女性人物能够媲美莎士比亚。

在《皆大欢喜》里，有许多之前耳熟能详又极富哲理的话语：
Love is merely a madness.爱情不过是一种疯狂。
Love all,trust a few,do wrong to none.爱所有人，信任少许人，勿伤任何人。
Your brain is as dry as the reminder biscuit after voyage.你的脑子和航海结束后的饼干渣一样干。
当然还是这段非常著名的《世界是一个舞台》也出自《皆大欢喜》。
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail

Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.
第二集：麦克白（Macbeth）
之前看过一段话这样形容“Macbeth”，“There's a play so powerful that an old superstition says its name should never even be uttered in a theater, a play that begins with witchcraft and ends with a bloody severed head, a play filled with riddles,prophesies,nightmare visions,and lots of brutal murder,a play by Willamn Shakespeare sometimes reffered to as "Scottish Play ” or the "Tragedy of Macbeth."
“Macbeth”这个词甚至在剧院里名字都不应该被提及。作为莎士比亚的“四大悲剧”之一，首演是在1606年的伦敦环球剧院,这也是莎士比亚作品中最短的一部悲剧，或许悲剧在历史的长河中可以走得更远吧。

第三集：理查二世（RichardⅡ）
之前看了《空王冠》系列对“本喵”扮演的理查二世印象深刻，所以在这一集也剪辑了许多其中的片段，还有“本喵”的对话喔~这集出现了著名的《威尔顿双联画》（Wilton Diptych）, 左半边描绘的是理查二世和站在其后面的三位圣人，右边是天堂的场景，11位可爱的天使簇拥着怀抱圣婴的圣母，其主题是：“君权神授”，理查二世伸出手表示接受，他所接受的就是天使所给予的“英格兰的统治权”。
圣婴耶稣的手势是“给予”，右前方的两个天使的手势同样也是“给予”。给予何物哪？英格兰的统治权。而理查二世的手势则是“接受”。中世纪风格的威尔顿双联画并不写实，因为人体只是一种符号，画作无空间透视感和明暗虚实。

第四集：暴风雨（The Tempest）
We are such stuff as dreams are made on.人生如梦。
What's past is prologue.凡是过去，皆为序章。
Let us not bear our remembrances with a heaviness that's gone.让我们不要把过去的不幸重压在我们的记忆上。
Lest too light winning make the prize light.赢得太容易反而使到手的东西不值什么了。
第五集：亨利四世&亨利五世（HeneryⅣ & HeneryⅤ ）
Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown.为王者无安宁。
第六集：哈姆雷特（Hamlet）
看到这集才知道原来逝世于80年代初的波兰作曲家和钢琴家安德烈·柴科斯基，把自己死后的头骨捐赠给了英国皇家莎士比亚剧团作为《哈姆雷特》演出的道具。1960年，安德烈·柴科斯基在伦敦居住并且专注于莎士比亚的戏剧研究，创作了许多关于莎士比亚戏剧的作品，比如戏剧音乐《哈姆雷特》、歌剧《威尼斯商人》和为莎士比亚十四行诗配戏的艺术歌曲等等。
关于《哈姆雷特》的剧情，我们许多人都非常熟悉。但正如剧中所说，“It's perhaps the most enduring image the play throws up,the danger is that familiarity will rob the scene of its impact.”
