I have read about Van when I was still in my college. I could not recall it complicatedly but I remember that Van was a person with great passionate feeling to love and painting. As I grew up I became more and more easier to be moved by movies and stories especially the real thing about great artist. To my some degree analysis, Van was deeply hurt by the marriage of his first lover M and his brother D. It was the time that Van was in the south area of France in which it was full of sunshine and beautiful rural landscape. Van felt calm and devoting to painting art very much. However the news of his brother's marriage distressed him. After some time, his friend G came over to draw with Van which brought great delight to him while showing the same great difference between their characters. In just three years, Van finally lost his health and reasonable ability. I love Van for his real kindness to the poor people and for his pure spirit to his friends and drawing. Approximately I feel sorry for his loneness in all his life just because his thought is mostly near to his warm heart which only could find the way of painting to express and encounter all of his heart and eyes. And It is right the one reason people pursue and love his art craft.
